Terms and Conditions
1. A bond of $100.00 is required
with every booking. This will be refunded (by post) within 14 days
after the holiday period if the property is left in a clean and
tidy condition i.e. no cleaning is required, no breakages are found
and if all rubbish is removed from property. If cleaning is required,
the tenant will be given an itemized account with the balance of
the bond. ALL HOUSES TO BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION. PLEASE
REPORT ALL BREAKAGES prior to departure. FISH MUST NOT BE CLEANED
ON THE PREMISES.
2.
The tenant agrees that on all matters pertaining to the cleanliness
of the property and any breakages that may occur during the period
of tenancy it shall be solely at the Owners discretion in
regard to payments for any cleaning or breakages in relation to
each tenancy.
3.
THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS including children must NOT exceed eight (8)
people. Overcrowding will render you liable for immediate termination
of your booking.
4.
ALL RUBBISH IS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY (DO NOT LEAVE IN
BINS) A $10.00 REMOVAL FEE WILL BE CHARGED IF RUBBISH IS
LEFT ON THE PROPERTY.
5.
All cutlery, crockery, glasses, cleaning materials, toilet paper,
pillows, blankets are supplied. Please bring linen appropriate to
the beds (two (2) queen and four (4) single) in the house in which you will be staying include
towels and tea towels. PLEASE NOTE: there is one 9kg bbq gas cylinder
provided. As we cannot control how much gas used by the previous
tenant, please check it on arrival and if more gas is required it
can be obtained in Normanville. The Owner will not be responsible
for refilling bbq gas cylinders.
6.
All weekly bookings will be from Saturday 2pm to Saturday 10am during
high season. During other seasons arrival and departure is negotiable.
7.
Arrangements for collection and delivery of keys will be advised
prior to tenancy.
8.
DOGS AND PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED, so please leave your pet behind.
9.
A deposit being half of the total rental charge is required within
7 days of booking to confirm rental and balance by one month prior
to booking, together with the $100 bond. NO BOOKINGS SHALL BE CONSIDERED
CONFIRMED UNTIL RECEIPT OF THE REQURED DEPOSIT. ALL MONIES TO BE
PAID PRIOR TO HANDING OVER KEYS. A tentative booking shall expire
after 7 days unless the deposit has been received. PLEASE NOTE:
All bookings are made in good faith, however, we reserve the right
to cancel in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
10.
All cheques to be made payable to D Jaquillard & S Minns, GPO
Box 1215, ADELAIDE SA 5001.
11.
All houses in Carrickalinga are on a septic effluent system, so
it is very important that no foreign objects are flushed down the
toilet. If a plumber is needed and the tenant is found responsible
for the blockage the tenant shall bear the cost of repair.
12.
In the event that the tenant, for any reason whatsoever, wishes
to cancel a booking, or is asked to leave the property due to unacceptable
behaviour no refund will be made unless and until the premises are
re-let for the total period of the booking, at which time a service
fee of 10% of one weeks rent will be charged.
